This September, Cloe Cavero participated in an International Symposium on saints and sanctity held in Rome, and organized by the Universidad Pablo de Olavide, the Universidad de Sevilla, the Università Roma Tre, and the Centro Studi Cultura e Immagine di Roma.

Her paper, entitled “Santos niños: El culto al Santo Inocente de la Guardia y la santidad infantil en el mundo hispano (XVI-XVII)”, explored the ways in which ecclesiastics constructed the sanctity of children allegedly murdered by Jews.
